Speaker

Scott Strelecki is the Planning Supervisor for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Goods Movement Business Unit. Mr. Strelecki has 16 years of experience across transportation and goods movement planning and transportation finance. He has worked at SCAG the past six years and prior to joining SCAG, Mr. Strelecki worked at the San Diego Association of Governments, beginning his transportation planning career in May 2008.

Mr. Strelecki has worked on many goods movement-related projects and programs including the development of SCAG’s Last Mile Freight Program, Zero-Emission Truck Infrastructure (ZETI) study, Integrated Passenger & Freight Rail Forecast, Industrial Warehouse Study, and Last Mile Freight Delivery Study. He has extensive expertise in international commodity flow and supply chain analysis across southern California, the U.S., and global trade partners. Prior to working in the public sector, Mr. Strelecki held positions at law and investment firms from 2000 to 2006. Mr. Strelecki received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of City Planning from California State University, Long Beach (2001) and San Diego State University (2008) respectively.
